St. Thomas + St. John
After a very stressful few months we decided to get away for a few nights. We wanted to go somewhere totally new to us and we decided on St Thomas.
We stayed at Ritz-Carlton- St. Thomas for a few nights and decided to take the ferry over to St. John for the day. I fell in LOVE with St. John, we ended up extending our trip and staying there for a few extra nights. We booked literally that morning so we were very limited but we stayed at The Westin, it was more of a timeshare vibe but I didn't even care because I loved the island so much.
When we go back, yes I said when, not if, I would most likely want to rent a house. Speaking of renting, we rented a car but next time I'll make sure it's a Jeep because 1. Hills and sharp turns 2. Everyone else, literally 90%, has a Jeep. I found some ______ on Instagram, we will probably book through them. Ok on to the beaches, FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL! I kept turning to Steven and saying “omg, this is the most beautiful beach ive ever seen” (I said that at almost every single beach we went to). Our favorites were Cinnamon Bay, Coral Bay, Trunk Bay, Caneel and Hawksnest. We didnt get to all the beaches obviously so I can't imagine there would be any that I didnt like. The key was getting there early enough, which we had zero problems parking/finding spots and so on.
At night we went into town, we went to Mongoose Junction for some shopping. Irie Pop for some treats. Some of our favorite restaurants were Longboard, Skinny Legs, Dave and Jerrys Island Steakhouse, and The Beach Bar.
As I'm typing this, I text Steven to start planning a trip back!
